Looking for Impact Driver Recommendations for DIY and House Reno

Hey everyone! I'm hunting for some opinions on impact drivers since my local shop has a sale going on. I'm not looking for the top-of-the-line model, just something reliable with good trigger control for my DIY projects and an upcoming house renovation. I already have some 4.0 batteries to use. The options I'm considering (prices in CAD) are: DCF809 for $80, DCF787 for $60, DCF887 for $110, and DCF860 for $230. Any recommendations or insights would be super helpful!

If you’re doing DIY projects, I’d totally recommend the DCF870 hydraulic impact. It’s pretty comparable to the 850 in speed and power, plus it’s quieter. Definitely a great choice for versatility and comfort!

Absolutely agree! The 870 has been fantastic for me too. It’s not just about raw power; I love that it has lower vibration and noise. It handles big lag screws like a champ!
