Hey everyone! I recently picked up some Disston saws and I'm trying to get more information about them. Can anyone help me out, particularly with their age and value? I'd really appreciate any insights you can share!

The saws you have were made after Disston sold out to HK Porter and moved production to Danville, Virginia. Unfortunately, that means their quality declined a bit, which affects their value. Most likely, these were produced between the late '50s and late '80s, so they don't hold much market value. However, if the steel is in good shape, you could clean them up, sharpen them, and see how well they work for you! Check the etches; it should say Danville instead of Philadelphia. Are you able to share some pictures of the saws? It would really help the community give you better advice!

Yeah, I can share some pics! Just uploaded a few; let me know what you think!
