Hey everyone! I live in a basement that doesn't get much natural light, but I've always dreamed of being a plant parent. Can anyone recommend some great beginner plants that thrive in low-light conditions? Thanks a lot for your help!

For beginner plants that don’t require a lot of light, I highly recommend getting a ZZ plant or a Snake plant. They're both super low-maintenance and can thrive in those conditions! Give them a shot!
It really depends on how little light you have. Do you get any sunlight at all from your window? If they're facing north-east like you mentioned and are blocked by shrubs, that might limit your options a bit. Have you thought about using grow lights? They can really help!
