Hey everyone! I'm trying to find a good alternative to traditional grass lawns since I've been noticing a lot of 'weeds' in my yard lately. I'm interested in a low-maintenance option that stays green but isn't just plain grass. I don't mind mowing, but I want something a bit different. I found some info on creeping thyme, but I'm wondering if anyone has experience with alternative lawn options or can point me to the right resources. Thanks for your help!

Clover could be a great choice for you! Just be sure to pick a variety that matches your local climate to thrive well. Plus, it’s often more tolerant of drought than traditional grass.
It’s helpful to know what types of 'weeds' you’re dealing with. Many plants that are great for alternative lawns can be considered weeds in regular grass. A clover and grass mix is quite popular, or you could look at other options like sedum, which is hardy and needs little water.

I have dandelions and some clover mixed in, plus some moss in a corner that I'm not sure about. Any other suggestions?
