I'm in the market for a few M18 batteries for my string trimmer. They don't necessarily need to be from the Forge line, but I'm hoping for something that will give me solid run time. Any suggestions on what to get? Thanks in advance!

For my string trimmer, I only use the 6.0 HOs. Just a heads up though, I've heard from Milwaukee reps that the deals on batteries are getting less frequent lately, so keep an eye out!
You could also consider buying a blower kit that includes a 12Ah Forge battery, then just sell the blower and charger. Might save you some cash!
If you're open to a combo deal, you can grab the Forge 8.0 battery and trimmer set for about $187. It can really boost efficiency, especially if you’ve got the first-gen trimmer. You should notice less energy loss and a better runtime, even on the medium setting!
I found some decent prices on Home Depot’s website for two-pack HO 6.0 and Forge 8.0 batteries. While they're not mind-blowing deals, sometimes they come with chargers included. There might be even better deals out there, so let’s see what others suggest.
If you're using the first generation trimmer, it's best not to go over the 6.0 in battery size.
