Looking for Non-IKEA Parts to Fix My PINNTORP Table

Hey everyone! My brother handed down his PINNTORP gateleg table from IKEA, but unfortunately, it's missing the legs and I think all the necessary parts to reattach them got lost. I know IKEA sells spare parts, but it seems like the specific parts I need (#100843, #100721, #120202) aren't available on their website. Are there any alternatives from furniture stores or Amazon that might work? Thanks a bunch!

You can totally find alternatives at your local hardware store. Just take the old parts—or a photo of the table—to get help matching them. For the specific parts you mentioned, #100843 is a split lock washer, which is pretty common. #100721 might be a nut, which you can also find easily. As for #120202, it's an assembly tool, so any socket wrench set with the right metric size should do the trick!

From what I see in the instruction manual, you need some nuts and washers to fit those threaded inserts on the table. Most big box stores have solutions for this! They often have tools to help you figure out what fits. A regular wrench might work for tightening, but a socket wrench is definitely the way to go for ease.

If you have an IKEA nearby, swing by! They usually give out spare parts for free. I once lost some screws for another Ikea piece, and they happily provided everything they had on hand. If there’s no store close by, just try calling or chatting with them online—they might charge for shipping, though.

I can confirm, calling them works too! They’ve been really helpful in my experience.
