Looking for Recommendations on Commercial Sliding Table Saws

I'm in the market for a robust sliding table saw but I'm not looking for the full panel saw setup. I've found two industrial-style options that seem pretty solid, but I'd love to hear from anyone who has experience with these brands or if you've got other suggestions. Here are the details:

1. MWE MBS300 Table Saw:
- Cost: $4,850 (with a single phase 5hp motor)
- Sliding Table: $2,100
- Total: $6,950
- Link: [MWE MBS300](https://majorwoodworking.com.au/product/mwe-mbs300-table-saw/)

2. Sherwood 12in Heavy Duty Table Saw with Panel Attachment:
- Cost: $6,000
- 3.2hp, made in Taiwan
- Link: [Sherwood Saw](https://www.timbecon.com.au/products/sherwood-12in-heavy-duty-table-saw-with-panel-attachment-dado-kit-and-dust-guard)

Any insights, comparisons, or alternative recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Just a heads up, those two saws you mentioned are table saws with sliding tables added on. They're not the same as true sliding table saws, which have the sliding table right next to the blade without a stationary table in between. If you're in Australia, I'm not sure about the used market, but you might find some European sliding saws.

I know a friend who does furniture making and swears by his two Grizzly sliding table saws. He loves them!

Felder makes some amazing sliding table saws. The one we use at my shop is an older model and it's an absolute beast with no complaints at all.

Are you able to get SCM saws in Australia? On a side note, I agree about the SawStop's sliding attachment—it feels more like an expensive sled rather than a proper sliding table setup.

I went with the sliding table attachment on a SawStop but I really wouldn't recommend it. It's not great, to be honest.

I appreciate the warning! I saw a used SawStop nearby, but it's pricier than these commercial options. What didn't you like about the sliding attachment? I thought it would be heavy duty.
