Hey everyone! I'm a beginner in woodworking, and I'm getting ready to start a new project where I'll be installing drawer slides for the first time. I have a design in mind that's similar to a YouTube tutorial I found, but I need to make sure I get the right slides for my particular setup.
My drawer measurements are 44 inches deep and 22 inches wide. I'm having a hard time finding heavy-duty drawer slides that are extra long like this; most seem to cap out around 24-30 inches. I need them to support a decent amount of weight—at least 150 pounds, but I'd feel better if they could handle closer to 200 pounds.
I'm hoping to use undermount slides, but I'm open to side-mount ones if necessary. Can anyone give me some advice or point me in the right direction? I know this might be a rookie question, so I appreciate any help you can provide!

I haven't come across any reliable undermount slides that can handle that kind of weight and length. For heavy-duty options, I found some slides that might fit the bill; you can check out these ones from Vadania. They’re listed at a good price, but I'm not sure if spending $300 would get you more than these. Just be sure to check the weight limit to make sure they meet your needs!
Blum slides are a great option! They’re not the cheapest, but for full extension and durability, they're worth it. However, I only found them going up to 24 inches in length. If you're looking for something longer, you might need to explore other brands or styles—Blum is great, but they have their limits!
Got it! I’ll see if there are any alternative options that can handle the length I need.

Thanks for the recommendation! I’ll definitely take a look at those.
