Hey everyone! I'm interested in the DEWALT DCPPR320 20V MAX cordless pole pruner. I've heard good things about their hand pruners, but I'd love to know if anyone has firsthand experience with this pole version. Is it worth the investment?

If you’re considering it but are open to alternatives, I’d suggest checking out the 8" pole saw instead. I've seen it on sale bundled with a battery and spare chain for about $170 lately at Home Depot. It's a great deal, but keep in mind it can be a bit tricky for tight spots and high branches, so make sure it fits your needs!
Absolutely, this pole pruner is solid! The head pivots, which helps you reach those tricky angles, and it can cut through anything a hand pruner can. Just a tip: if it gets stuck while cutting, twist the shaft a bit to free it instead of forcing it. Trust me, trying to cut with the blade stuck is just going to drain your energy! Watch out, some branches that seem light can swing hard if you’re not careful—learned that the hard way!

I actually just got that pole saw with the deal too. It's awesome but definitely a challenge for those narrow spaces when you’re up high or need to shape some soft branches.
