I've been trying to find the right router bits for template trimming some MDF panels for an arcade cabinet I've built. I've made one side panel using 16mm MDF, and I want to create an identical panel by using the existing one as a template. I've been checking out local stores like Bunnings, Total Tools, and Sydney Tools but haven't had much luck finding router bits that are long enough and come with bearings. Does anyone have any suggestions or know where I might find what I need? Specific store recommendations would be awesome! Thanks!

For more options in Australia, consider Carb-i-tool. They might custom grind bits for you if needed, and they also have a range of specialized tools, including diamond-coated bits. If they don’t have what you need, they can probably send it internationally. If you're looking for a more affordable option, check McJing in Yagoona. They offer a variety of bits without the premium brand price.
You should look for a flush trim bit with a bearing. Carbatec has some longer ones available in Australia. That should do the trick!
Just to add, you don't necessarily need a long flush trim bit. Just make sure it's long enough to trim a bit on the bottom board, then you can remove the top board to use it as a guide. I recommend doing passes of 4-5mm at a time. It really helps with accuracy!
Check out Whiteside; they make a great flush trim bit with bearings on both ends, which lets you use it with templates in different positions. They can handle up to 54mm cuts but can be a bit pricey.

Legend, thank you!
