I'm a 53-year-old living in an RV trailer, and I'd love to start building some simple projects. I have access to some wood and basic tools, plus I can borrow others from my landlord. I'm considering making a bench or a frame for a fire pit since there are plenty of rocks around. I also want to create an outdoor shelf because my storage space is pretty limited inside the trailer. I grew up around construction, so I know the basics, but I've primarily been focused on computers. I'm looking for suggestions on small projects that could improve my living space, both inside the trailer and around it. Any tips or links to helpful resources for beginners would be greatly appreciated!

How about starting with a three-legged stool? They’re pretty easy to make, and once you've built one, you can try making another. Then you could step it up with a larger three-legged table for a nice conversation setup! Just make sure you check how stable it is for your RV's sloped ground.

Thanks for the idea! I think a bench would be better since it's more stable on the slope around my trailer. But I appreciate you suggesting the stool!
