Looking for Solar Panels with Voc Around 44V for My Ecoflow Delta Pro Setup

Hey everyone! I'm assembling a small solar power system using Ecoflow Delta Pros for charging and storage. However, I'm having a tough time finding solar panels that suit my requirements. The ideal panel should have an open-circuit voltage (Voc) between 42 to 44 volts and an Imp at 15A or higher to fully utilize the Delta Pro's capacity with a maximum of three panels in series. Since I'm in a colder climate where temperatures can hit -25°C, I need to make sure the panels can handle the extremes. I'm also space-conscious, so while I could manage a four-panel string, I'd prefer a compact three-panel setup. I've considered several options:

- **Sungoldpower 500w**: Voc is close, but the Imp is lower than I want, which means I'd be under-paneled with three in series.
- **Meyer Burger 385w**: Good size for my needs, but with a 3s2p setup, which I'm not thrilled about.
- **Canadian Solar 650w**: A bit oversized for what I want but difficult to source.
- **Trina Solar 535w Vertex N**: Perfectly sized for three panels but availability is a challenge.
- **Rec Pure RX 450w**: Fits a 2s2p setup, but it's super pricey.

If anyone has suggestions for panels, configurations, or where to get them, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

You might be making this more complicated than it needs to be. How much space do you have? To really max out your Delta Pro, consider wiring two panels with a lower ISC in parallel. Aim for about 10A. The max power input is 1600W, so if you go for 3 panels in series with around 35V VMPP, something like 350W panels should work and they tend to be smaller than the ones you’ve listed. The Canadian Solar panels might be a great fit for your needs, too!

I’m planning a ground mount and have limited space, but I could probably fit a 3s2p configuration. I think the Meyer Burger 385W panels would fit nicely.

Have you checked out the new Ecoflow 125W bifacial panels? They could work for your setup, as they're designed to hit those specs. Typically sold in sets of four, they allow up to three sets in parallel for max output. The price might sting a bit at around $499 for a 500W set during discounts though. Just be cautious, as they have a Voc around 50 volts, which may not be compatible with your Delta Pro for optimal charging. But if you’re digging the bifacial aspect, they look pretty solid!

Yeah, they look great, but that price is a bummer. Plus, I checked, and their VOC isn’t ideal for the Delta Pro's requirements.

Have you tried the Victron MPPT calculator? It’s got a huge database of panels and lets you specify the minimum and maximum temperature, plus your location. This way, you can see a broad range of panel specs that suit your needs. I'm sure you’ll find alternatives like their 305W ones or even the Solon SE 305W for a 2s2p setup. The voltages are pretty manageable as well!

Thanks for that tip! I’ll check it out for sure.
