Looking for Temporary Door Screens Without Magnets

I'm searching for a way to set up a temporary door screen that allows my cats to go in and out to the patio without letting bugs inside. The issue is that my door frame is made of plastic, making it impossible to use magnetic screens since they won't stick. Does anyone have suggestions for a non-magnetic screen solution?

Have you checked out Magic Mesh? They use hook and loop for the frame, which might work without needing magnets. Just be mindful because everything I stumbled upon still relies on magnets, which won’t help your situation.

A few years back, I had a screen that used push pins to attach around the door frame. There's also options with 3M adhesive strips. You can always get creative and craft your own mounting solution. Might be worth a try!

I get the struggle with non-metallic frames! When I faced this, I used Velcro strips with some strong double-sided tape to hold the screen up. It worked surprisingly well and was easy to take down. Also, consider using tension rods like shower curtain rods — they're easy to set up! You could hang a mesh curtain or even rig an old blanket over it for extra bug protection. Just a little creativity can go a long way!
