I'm thinking about buying some Red Knights bell pepper seeds and planting them in 50-gallon gardening bags. I'm relatively new to gardening and would appreciate any tips or advice from experienced growers. Thanks a lot!

This is my first time growing peppers in bags too, and I've been seeing mixed advice on the size. Most sources suggest going for 5 to 15-gallon bags, but I haven’t encountered anyone who used a 50-gallon bag. You might end up with some giant plants, though!
I've been growing bell peppers for a few years, and one trick I learned is to pinch off the first set of flowers to help the plant grow bigger before they start producing. I also know someone who begins their seeds in February to get them going nicely before moving them outside. It might be worth trying!
You might be a bit late in the season to start those peppers, depending on where you are. I live further north, and I usually start mine indoors in early March since they grow pretty slowly. You might want to check your local climate to see if you're still okay to plant.
