Hey everyone! I'm building a DJ table and I'm looking for some advice on how to attach removable legs creatively. I've got one table already, but for the new one, I want to make it completely out of plywood. I saw a great example from another post, but the original user has deleted their profile, so I can't ask them directly. My main concern is finding a good method for attaching the legs since I can't use heavy 2x material like I did for my previous table. I'm really interested in how the other user managed to make their legs easily detachable and securely fastened. Any tips or details on the hardware they might be using would be awesome!

It looks like they might be using thumbscrews that fit into threaded inserts. You can find thumbscrews at hardware stores, and they usually work well for this kind of application. The idea is that you would have the threaded insert attached to either the table itself or the leg, letting you easily screw and unscrew the legs when you need to remove them. You could probably adjust the size based on how sturdy you want the legs.

Got it! So the threaded part would go in the support of the table, and then the thumbscrew would go into the leg, right?
