Hey everyone, I recently inherited a bunch of indoor plants after my mom passed away unexpectedly. I'm trying to step up my plant-parent game this time around. I have a plant identification app and I've set reminders, but I'm seeking general advice on how to care for them. The plants I have are: monstera, dumb cane, gollum jade, rubber plant, spider plant, pothos, fishbone, and dwarf umbrella tree. It's really important to me that I keep them thriving since I haven't had the best luck with plants in the past. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Hey, I'm really sorry for your loss! It’s great that you’re taking care of your mom's plants. A few things to consider: 1) What’s your current climate? Like, is it really hot or humid? 2) Are all the plants indoors? 3) Try categorizing them based on their care needs - like super needy, moderately needy, and low maintenance. I keep different schedules for each, and it really helps! I’m in a southern area, so I always check if it’s too hot outside and bring them in when it gets scorching. Wishing you all the best!
Your post is a bit broad, and it’s hard to give specific advice without knowing what environment your plants came from. Factors like the types of plants, their age, and whether they’re more like houseplants or succulents really matter. But I totally get it—it's tough to know where to start!

Thanks for the support! I updated my post with the current climate details—it’s pretty dry and hot, but all the plants are indoors.
