Hey, I'm working underground in some pretty tight spaces and often find myself hundreds of meters away from my coworkers. Unfortunately, regular radios aren't cutting it out here. I'm hoping to set up a wired two-way radio system that I can run through an extension cord holder over a few hundred meters to keep in touch. If anyone has experience with similar setups or can recommend specific systems, I'd really appreciate it!

You might want to try using a 50-ohm coax cable or a 75-ohm cable with BNC T adapters. They've been used in some similar setups before. And if you're going that route, you might need an attenuator. Just something to think about!
Have you thought about motorcycle intercom headsets? They might do the trick for you. They’re designed for long distances and could be a good fit for your situation.
What about using something like megaphones? It sounds like a wild job you have! Just curious, what exactly do you do down there? Hope you're not planning any bank heists or anything! 😂
