I've been using my local store's home brand tools, and while they are affordable, their quality is lacking. Recently, I got my hands on a DeWalt hammer drill, and I absolutely love it! Now, I'm eager to upgrade most of my other tools to better quality ones. I really appreciate how DeWalt's packaging interlocks for organized storage. I just purchased a 32-piece set of driver bits and am now looking to get a set of drill bits. I have two options on sale: one is a "black and gold" 13-piece set, and the other is a "Speed Tip Titanium-Nitride Coated" 21-piece set, suitable for plastic, wood, and metal. Can anyone provide insight into which set might offer better quality or durability? Also, I've noticed my local store doesn't seem to carry DeWalt masonry drill bits. Are they available elsewhere?

DeWalt drill bits are definitely available, but your local store might not stock every single item since there are so many options. I've been using the black and gold bits for a few months now and have had no problems at all. They’re reliable! You might have to look online or at other retailers for the masonry bits. They do exist!
In general, the black and gold bits are good, but if you’re looking for something more durable, I'd recommend the titanium ones. They usually last longer and handle tougher materials better. If you're just getting into drilling more, they're worth the investment!

Thanks for the insight! This is exactly the kind of advice I was looking for.
