I recently had my M12 Fuel 3/8 impact denied for warranty repair because they cited 'Loose Wiring' as the issue. They want to charge me $135 for the fix, which seems steep considering it's only about 2 years old. Has anyone dealt with this problem before? I'm hoping to figure out if I can fix it myself instead of paying that fee.

If you know how to use a screwdriver and do a bit of soldering, you're already halfway there! It might be worth a shot to take a look at the wiring and see if you can sort it out yourself.
Absolutely! Milwaukee tools are usually pretty easy to work on. You can find part numbers and exploded diagrams on their website, which can really help when you're trying to find the exact issue.
It sounds like a manufacturer's defect to me. If you can, definitely try fixing it yourself if you're comfortable with that! A lot of these tools are designed to be user-friendly when it comes to repairs.
