I'm considering buying a multi-tool and I'm stuck between the M12 and M18 models. I've seen mixed opinions out there and would love to hear some reviews or personal experiences. Which one do you think is better for general use? Thanks!

As a commercial electrician, I can tell you the M12 is my daily driver. It’s currently discounted to $199 with two 5.0 batteries at Home Depot. It’s lighter, pretty much just as capable as the M18, and honestly, I can’t see a reason to go for the M18 version for this tool.
I picked up the M12 for my bathroom renovation and it has never let me down. Even with the 2.0 battery, it’s super maneuverable and lighter than the M18. So far, I haven't encountered anything it can't cut, and it’s definitely one of my go-to tools now!
