Hey folks! I scored a great deal on an M18 drill with a battery, but it looks like the chuck is totally jammed—it won't tighten or loosen at all. I found out this is why the price was so low. I searched for solutions and watched a pretty lengthy video where the guy tried a bunch of repairs, but nothing worked for him. Someone in the comments mentioned he made a mistake right off the bat, which got me curious. Can anyone help me out with tips on how to fix this chuck? I'm fairly handy with repair stuff, so if you have a manual or video recommendation, I'd really appreciate it. Just to note, I'm new to Milwaukee tools; I've mostly used Ryobi before this!

I recently changed my chuck to a Rohm Extra50-RV13 because mine was seizing too. It cost me about $35 for the new one, and it worked like a charm! Getting the old one off was a bit tricky, though.

What was that process like? The video I watched seemed to say that some bolts are reverse threaded, which confused me. Did you need any special tools to get yours off?
