M18 Multi Tool vs M12: Am I Missing Something?

I recently got the M18 Fuel multi-tool and, honestly, I'm not impressed. I've had the M12 Fuel and it feels way better in comparison. I'm curious if anyone else has experience with both tools and sees it differently?

I’m not a pro, but I have to say I prefer the M12 over the M18. I’ve only used them a little, but the M12 feels more efficient and is easier to handle.

You might just have a faulty tool. I've tried different Milwaukee models and found the M12 to be snappier. It powers up faster and doesn’t lag while cutting through drywall like the M18 does. I think I expected a lot more from the M18 after loving the M12.

I agree; on paper, it seems good, but the performance just doesn’t match up.

You might want to double-check! The original M18 model (2626) wasn’t that great, but the newer M18 Fuel models are supposed to be a step up. I can’t see how the M18 Fuel would underperform compared to the M12 since they were launched around the same time and share similar designs.

I’ve compared all four, and honestly, the M12 Fuel wins for me! The M18 is just too bulky and doesn't fit well in my hand.

Oops, I messed up! I meant to say I have the non-Fuel version. I got it as a freebie with batteries and didn’t notice it wasn’t the Fuel version. My mistake guys.
