I'm looking to buy a hot glue gun for my wooden statues and I'm a bit confused about the differences between manual and electric models. Can anyone help clarify?

From what I understand, all hot glue guns need electricity to heat the glue, so calling one manual might be a bit misleading. Maybe you meant more of a traditional glue pot and brush setup? That’s definitely a different approach but not exactly what most people think of as a hot glue gun.

Right? I was wondering if OP means one that's operated by hand versus a fully electric one. It's all a bit unclear!
