I've been a collision repair tech since 2011, and I've always used Milwaukee ratchets, including models from the original series to the brushless ones, and now the long neck version. I've had great luck with my previous ratchets, but my 2568-20 has worn out after just eight months of use. It won't rotate anymore; the pawl and anvil seem to slip and the yoke just spins freely. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm pretty disappointed, and while I'm aware of the 5-year warranty, I think it only covers factory defects.

Check out some YouTube videos! You might be able to clean the anvil on your own. I tried doing that once, but I lost a small spring in the process. If you need a replacement, a genuine Milwaukee anvil usually costs about $40, but you can find generic ones for less on places like eBay or Amazon.
You should definitely reach out to a Milwaukee Service Center. They can help explain how to repair it yourself if you're comfortable with that. Since you've been careful with your tools, it sounds like there might be a factory defect in yours, and they should help you out under warranty.

I have the tools to take it apart, but I can't seem to find a listing for that specific anvil anywhere.
