Hey everyone! I'm in the process of simplifying my gardening tools and would love your insights. I haven't tended to my garden in a while, and it's gotten pretty overwhelming with all the supplies I have. I recently decluttered my home and found that it really helps me enjoy my space more. I'm hoping to do the same with my gardening equipment!
Right now, I have a collection that includes a lawn mower, hedge trimmer, line trimmer, shovel, rake, trowel, and a solar irrigation system. I'm interested in hearing from fellow minimalist gardeners: what are your must-have tools or gadgets that I might be missing? Also, for tools like rakes and shovels, do you find it helpful to have different types, or can you get by with just one or two? I feel like having three different rakes is a bit overkill!

For me, I keep it super simple. I regularly use a spade, loppers, hose, a hori hori knife, and a pruning knife. Oh, and I also rely on my neighbor for mowing, but I’m not sure if that counts as a tool!

What brand of hori hori do you have? I tried a cheap one and it's basically just a narrow trowel for me.
