I'm thinking about buying a SawStop 3HP 36" PCS, and I've been on the lookout for a used one. Unfortunately, most of the options I've found are far from where I live, so I haven't made the purchase yet. I have a couple of questions:
First, how heavy is this saw? If I manage to find a used one, what's the best way to relocate it? Should I rent a truck? How many people will I need to help? Just to note, I'm not as strong as I used to be, but I do have a son and some friends who can assist.

The PCS model weighs around 400 lbs. I'd recommend renting a truck for transport, especially if you want to move it assembled. Having your son and a friend to help should be fine. It’s definitely easier with extra hands, but if you’re set on doing it yourself, I managed with only a bit of help when I moved mine.
When I got my SawStop, it came loaded with a forklift, just the saw itself, no extra parts. If you're moving it, a moving company might be worth considering since they have the right equipment. You really don’t want to try doing this alone; it can be tough to manage without extra help!
If the saw has a decent wheelbase installed, you can easily move it on a trailer. If not, consider getting one—it’ll make everything simpler. When I moved my smaller saw, it made rolling it around a breeze, and you won’t have to lift it as much!
