Hey everyone! I'm looking for some insight from concrete experts since I've had some struggles with a fence post repair. Previously, I used fast-setting concrete for this repair, but it only worked for about a week before the post started leaning again. This time around, I've taken a different approach: I cut a longer section of the post, added rebar, and used a 5000 psi concrete mix. I'm considering sending it out to a professional company for a proper fix but wanted to hear your thoughts first. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated! You might want to think about attaching the post to a wall if you're aiming for a long-term fix. Just addressing the base could lead to constant adjustments, since that post acts as a big lever.

That makes sense! But I don't think I can attach it to the wall without taking everything down. I was just experimenting to see if it would hold, since the gate is only used occasionally.
