Hey everyone! I'm renovating my bathroom and decided to install a medicine cabinet for some extra storage. Unfortunately, I couldn't recess it into the wall, so it's just mounted on the surface. I bought one online that looked great in the photos, but it turns out the sides of the wall are not flat or finished. Does anyone have suggestions on how to cover, hide, or frame in the sides to make it look more polished?

Why didn’t you go for a recessed installation? Moving a 2x4 or adjusting wiring is usually pretty straightforward. Just be careful with plumbing since that can complicate things! Definitely keep that in mind for future projects, though.
It's an older house, and we have concerns about disturbing the insulation since we’re not sure if it's safe.
