I recently bought some soft closing hinges, but it turns out the builders used larger screw holes for the cabinet door holder than I expected. I'm looking to find compatible hinges or maybe the brand name so I can just replace the cabinet door hinges while keeping the existing connectors. Any suggestions? Have you thought about using the screws that the builder already used? Could save you a step!
You might want to consider getting a soft close damper that works independently of the hinge. It's usually cheaper than replacing the entire hinge! Check out this option I found on Amazon: [Rok Hardware Damper](https://www.amazon.com/Rok-Hardware-Cabinet-Compact-Adapter/dp/B00IRLHIEK). It's a solid choice!
Thanks! That sounds like a good plan. Do you know if these dampers work just as well as replacing the hinges?
Blum makes some of the best soft close hinges around. They’re super reliable!
Yeah, but man, those can get pricey!

I tried that, but the holes on the new hinges weren't wide enough. Here's what I bought: [Chibery Hydraulic Hinges](https://www.amazon.ca/Chibery-Installation-Hydraulic-Frameless-Concealed/dp/B09ZTYPDCR?crid=1GMHHW5KXTK2W&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.7dtx4FkyGevwB96u4oSsMO0v9ETQt2QG3i-EOH5nMtb3UUw_tcLI0K_-jJOD-Yag_Gv0lBDlYNfsUmprKjIOW_vFWJ1TeK3Rai3JlUxmt9pCDmXnocUJiLTqVVeQSW7Eq-hzwxejlow1YoAJ-heIxbQGf_WReD4Px_HpEPjzybQfaO2Vlv-JMsrF87GibtPQcJfxb5CUV34nXec6w0ZkSWzc7MTMneqoxOI-gUeFiVXvPCMP5HI7RQTvbDKAbqSauPszkktDAqfJY3GFTfCyuDkzy5b8qoMNSuoZZThPdgs.m7k7CikeV4F0OPlxnWaqGtE6DkAlaSvEz4XPoQk_aqA&dib_tag=se&keywords=soft%2Bclosing%2Beurofit%2Bhinges&qid=1756474987&sprefix=soft%2Bclosing%2Beurofit%2Bhinges%2Caps%2C68&sr=8-5&th=1). Any insights on those?
