Hey everyone! My wife and I are about to celebrate our 7-year anniversary in a couple of weeks. She's really into house plants, and I'd love to stick to a tradition we started. For our 5-year anniversary, I gifted her a fig tree (wood, for 5 years) and last year, a Japanese cast iron plant (the traditional gift for 6 years). Now for year 7, the traditional gift is copper, but I'm struggling to find a copper-themed plant that fits our home decor.
I'm not a fan of the copper leaf plant, as it doesn't match with our color scheme, and a copper planter doesn't seem appealing either. I'm wondering if there's another copper-themed plant I might have overlooked or anything else related to house plants that could fit this idea. If you have any suggestions or need more details, feel free to ask. Thanks for your help!

It'd be super helpful if you shared a list of the copper plants you've checked out so far! It can be tough to suggest alternatives without knowing what you’ve already looked into.
If your wife already has succulents, you might consider the Copper Stonecrop or Copper Sedum. Just make sure she’s familiar with the succulent scene first! Are you strictly looking for plants that have 'copper' in their name, or are you open to ones that resemble the copper color?

I’ve only come across the copper leaf plant when searching for 'copper house plant.' It’s a bit too deep in color for my liking.
