I'm working on a project to stop my cat from causing chaos at night. He has recently started clawing at my carpet under the door, and I need a solution. My idea is to create a remote-controlled cat sprayer that consists of a receiver, a pump, and a reservoir. Although I've only worked on pre-made electronic kits before, I want to take on this challenge myself. Could someone check out my Adafruit wishlist and let me know if I have all the components I need for this? Thanks a lot!

Have you considered using motion-activated cans of compressed air? Cats totally hate the smell and sound of those. Your project might be even easier with something like that instead! Check out this product for reference: [PetSafe Automatic Spray Pet Deterrent](https://www.petsafe.com/product/ssscat-automatic-spray-pet-deterrent/).
It looks like your setup should work! Just a heads up, are you planning to use a 5V pump? It might be a little out of spec but should be fine as long as you're not running it constantly.
Just so you know, that pump might not be super powerful. You might want to think about upgrading it or experimenting with different nozzles to get better spray.
I figured I’d have to get creative with a nozzle. I'm not entirely sure how that will work yet but I'm on it!

Yeah, I'm going with 5V for the pump. I’m hoping it’ll still be strong enough since it won’t be on all the time.
