Need Help Choosing Exterior Paint Colors to Match Shingle

Hey folks! I'm in a bit of a predicament with my HOA requiring me to repaint my home. My wife is really pushing for a blue or bluish color, but we installed tan Owens Corning Duration (Amber) shingles in 2018, and I'm worried that the blues on the HOA's approved list might clash with them or only work as trim colors. I'm not very skilled at color matching, so I'm kinda stuck trying to avoid a costly mistake. From the approved color list, which blue do you think would best complement the shingle color? Here's a link to a photo of the shingles on our house for reference. Thanks for any help!

I suggest snapping a pic of your house and then taking the approved color list to a Sherwin-Williams store for a consultation. Their specialists might have some awesome suggestions! I personally like 'North Star' too.

Do they really have color experts? I’ll definitely look into that option!

I think 'Uncertain Grey' looks nice! It’s a subtle blue that might work well with the tan shingles without contrasting too harshly.

Sorry, which one? There are actually three we’re considering but I really appreciate your input!

I’d recommend going for something slightly darker than the current color, just to add some depth. I get that it’s tricky with HOA rules! Why do they want you to repaint, though?

Lol, because they can! The paint’s fading and there’s some rust from the stucco fasteners. It’s a bunch of reasons, sadly. If I could just pick a color, it’d be much easier!
