Need Help Finding a Festool CT 48 Knob

Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a replacement knob for my Festool CT 48 dust extractor. The part number is 496249, and it's the variable speed adjustment knob. Unfortunately, mine broke, and when I tried to order a new one from Festool, they mentioned it would take at least 12 weeks to ship. I really need it sooner than that! I have a 3D printer, but I couldn't find any existing models for this knob online. If anyone has the knob and could share some measurements, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

Hey! I work at a tool shop, and I might be able to get you the measurements when I’m back at work—if we have a CT 48 on the shelf, I can help you out!

Oh man, that would be awesome! Thank you so much!

How 'broken' is your knob? If it's just in a few pieces, maybe some thin CA glue and a hose clamp could hold it together for now. Just make sure to leave the clamp on until you're ready to put in the new part. If you've stripped a screw, you might be able to tap a slightly larger hole to fit a new screw. It might stick out a bit, but it should work fine! I've always been about repairing tools rather than replacing them, so if possible, fixing it might be a great short-term solution.

Unfortunately, it's not in pieces—I think it fell out completely and is lost somewhere after I took off the panel. It's a bit of a mess!
