Need Help Finding an Audio Output Transformer for Laser Audio Transmission

Hi everyone! I'm currently trying to send audio through a laser following the steps in a tutorial video, but I'm having trouble locating the right audio output transformer. I'm based in the UK and could use some recommendations on where to find one. Thanks in advance!

You can use any small audio output for a 16 ohm, 0.5 W speaker—it's not super strict on specs. Just make sure to measure the current requirement of your laser diode; it's usually around 30 mA. You’ll need to calculate for an equivalent resistance, which would be about 120 ohms. There's also a simple option that doesn't require a transformer, and you can check it out [here](https://burchill.nz/electronics-resources/sound-via-laser/).

I've heard about some cool tech using IR to transmit data within rooms. It might not be specifically audio, but you could likely adapt similar methods to send audio through it too!

You might want to check out this transformer option—it should do the trick! [See here](https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256807297971028.html)
