Need Help Identifying CNC Cutting Services for My Project

Hey fellow woodworking enthusiasts! I'm on the hunt for a routing, laser-cutting, or CNC service that can handle larger pieces of plywood and lumber for a small project I'm working on. The biggest piece I need cut is around 4' x 4', and I'm looking for clean, accurate cuts, especially for some convex angles. This project has a music-related theme, and I can provide a 1:1 scale drawing if necessary. However, every time I search online, I mostly find services for acrylic cutting or smaller, thinner plywood. I'm based in Southern California, near Burbank (Northern Los Angeles), and I would really appreciate any guidance on what this type of service is called or where to find it!

Don't forget that you'll need a vector art file, like .ai or .dxf, for the CNC machining. If you're comfortable drawing in CAD software, that’s a great option! If not, you might find someone who can help trace your design. Good luck!

Thanks for the tip! I can definitely create the vector files in CAD, so that shouldn't be an issue.

You might want to check out local cabinet shops. They usually have the necessary tools and might even help you out with the cuts. If they can't do it themselves, they'll likely know someone who can!

Have you looked into local maker spaces? They often have CNC equipment available, and the community is usually pretty helpful. Plus, it could be a fun way to get into woodworking!
