Need Help Installing My Stacking Dryer in a Tight Spot

I'm dealing with a tight space for my stacking washer and dryer, and it's been a bit of a headache. I couldn't access the back of the dryer when I needed to replace the heating element after it burned out. When I finally brought the dryer down, the semi-rigid hose disconnected, and now I have no idea how it was originally attached since it's not long enough to connect when the dryer is on the ground. Now that I've replaced the heating element, I'm at a crossroads on how to reconnect the dryer to the vent. Should I get a longer semi-rigid hose and hook it up while the dryer's on the ground before lifting it back onto the washer? Or should I elevate the dryer to connect it first? Is there a better solution for this cramped installation? Check out my pics for context: https://imgur.com/a/B96O9Nw

You might want to check out a vent kit that has magnets. It's designed specifically for situations like yours. It makes attaching and detaching a breeze, especially in tight spaces.

Getting that dryer back in is gonna take some patience. An accordion tube might save you the hassle. You can connect it and then just slide the dryer back into place without too much fuss.
