Hey folks! I cracked the corner of my cultured marble bathroom countertop where the built-in sink is located. The crack is about 4–6 inches long, and while it's not leaking or flexing, it's definitely visible and kind of raised. I'm looking for some DIY repair advice instead of having to replace the entire countertop. I've heard about using epoxy or resin and possibly doing some sanding and color tinting, but I'm not entirely sure how to tackle this or what actually works best. Has anyone successfully repaired a similar crack? What methods or materials did you use, and how did the outcome look? I'm not aiming for perfection, just something that looks decent and holds up over time. Thanks in advance for any tips or suggestions! Using epoxy with a bit of color tint is a solid way to fix that crack. Just be careful not to go for a completely opaque tint; leaving a little transparency helps it blend better with the marble's natural pattern. After applying the epoxy, sand it down with finer grit sandpaper and polish the entire surface to get it looking nice and shiny.
Adding a tint to the epoxy can help the crack resemble a natural vein in the marble, making it less noticeable. Are you looking to completely replace the cracked area, or just fix it? If you're going for the repair, this method should work well!
