I've got a leak in my garage ceiling, and I'm at a loss for who to contact for help. It's been sprinkling for about 12 hours, and while the ceiling cavity looks dry now, I'm uncertain when the leak started—could it have been from winter, spring, or heavy rains? I'm just trying to figure out whether I need to call a gutter expert, a stucco guy, a roofing specialist, or someone else entirely. Really appreciate any advice you can share!

I'd recommend starting by calling a roofer. It sounds like there’s a gap that might be allowing water in, and they can help seal it off. Plus, they usually know if additional specialists are needed like for gutter or flashing work.
You might also want to consider a mould remediation expert if you have concerns about moisture damage. After that, it might be good to get a flashing specialist on board, but a roofing contractor should generally cover most bases.
What’s directly above your garage? Sometimes something that seems unrelated can actually be the cause of the leak, so figuring out if there's plumbing or an HVAC system up there could help nail it down.
