Need Help with Gutter and Downspout Setup for New Driveway

Hey everyone! I'm pretty stumped with my gutter situation. We're pouring a new concrete driveway this Saturday, and I've got to figure out what to do about a downspout that terminates right at the corner where the sidewalk meets the driveway. I'm considering blocking one side of the gutter and redirecting the pitch, but I'm not entirely sure that's the best route. I've heard of people running downspout expanders underneath concrete, but I'm worried about how that will hold up over time. If I need to dig it up later, that could be a hassle! I wish I could share a photo, but I'll try to explain better in the comments. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

If you're nervous about rain affecting the concrete while it's curing, consider temporarily redirecting the downspout away from the area you're pouring. Once the concrete sets, the water can just run off onto it and down the driveway—the concrete should handle it fine, but do keep an eye on prolonged runoff as it could potentially cause wear and tear over time.

You could run some 4-inch PVC pipe under the sidewalk and driveway to handle the downspout drainage. It's a solid, long-term solution that should keep everything flowing smoothly without worries about it getting damaged later on.
