Need Help with My Dishwasher Installation – Door is Sticking!

I'm trying to install a new dishwasher, but I'm running into a problem. I ordered a 24" wide dishwasher and my installation gap is also 24"—rookie mistake, I know! It slid in easily, but now the door is really hard to open and close. I'm pretty sure the issue is the door gear or spring rubbing against the walls of the cabinet or drywall. I read that this could be a result of a poor installation, which is probably my fault. I have a couple of ideas in mind, but I'd love some feedback and maybe some better solutions. To the left of the dishwasher is drywall and the right side is a cabinet wall. I'm considering sanding down the drywall a bit, but I'm open to other suggestions. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

First off, make sure your dishwasher is level and secured to the countertop. If it’s tilted or not fixed down, that could cause the door to stick. Once that’s sorted, check how far back the dishwasher is installed; they usually need to sit a bit forward from the cabinets to avoid door issues. Might just need to push it out a little! Good luck with it!
