Need Help with My Dormer Tile Alignment Issue

Hey everyone, I'm in the middle of a dormer project and I'm starting to worry about the tile alignment. The tiles seem to be going at an angle rather than in a straight line. My builder insists this is normal and that it can't be perfectly aligned due to the tiles being slightly different sizes (around 1cm variance). However, I'm concerned because it looks like they slope downward from left to right. When I brought this up, the builder didn't see my point, but his partner admitted it wasn't straight, blaming it on the original foundation being crooked. I just don't get how that affects the tiles since the roof was redone only two years ago and looked great then. We even used a laser level to check the line, and I genuinely can't see how it's straight. I really want to know if I'm just overreacting or if there's a real issue here. I'll drop a link to the files so you can take a look. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like your house may not be level, which could affect how the tiles are laid out. You have a few options: you can either make the tiles match the house’s current slope, align them with true level, or find a middle ground. From what you've described, the setup looks okay overall, but sometimes you just gotta pay the builder and move on.

I appreciate your input! Just to clarify, do you think the left side is about 6-8 cm lower than the right? Would you suggest any adjustments to the tiles, or do you think they did the best they could?
