Hey everyone! I'm new to the battery inverter scene after years of using a gas generator and inlets. I've recently purchased an Eco Worth 5k off-grid system paired with a 100Ah server rack and am building a little hand truck setup with a dolly for convenience. I'm curious about a couple of things: 1. Should I stick with the battery terminal that came with the system, or would it be better to upgrade to a larger gauge wire? 2. I'm looking for a 'bare' SS2-50R with a ring terminal to wire to my inverter. I've provided a link to what I currently use for charging the inverter too. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I actually have the same kit, but I’m using two batteries. What’s your plan for running off this setup? I’ve been testing mine out by powering my fridge and some lights, and it’s been working pretty well. My batteries drop to around 80-85% by the morning, but they charge back up thanks to solar by noon.

I'm focusing mainly on emergency backup through my generator inlet. It's a lot simpler to wheel this setup over than to fire up the generator for short outages. For longer ones, I’ve got a 7500W inverter to keep the 5k running while it charges. I’ll probably use some foldable solar panels in the driveway if we get a hurricane, but I know I need at least 100V from solar for the inverter.
