Hey everyone! I'm about to try out this 'hack' for the first time and want to confirm a few details before I dive in. I just got a 1/2" Stubby Impact and I'm looking to grab two 5ah batteries that are on sale for $199, which also comes with a free tool. From what I gather, if both items are discounted, I can return one of them to get the batteries at a lower price. I think I need to place pickup orders at two different stores for this to work, and then return the unwanted item at the customer service desk of the second store to get a refund. This way, I'd end up paying $99.50 for the batteries instead of $199. Also, I'm planning to choose the high-speed ratchet as my free tool. When I return it, I'd get a refund for $99.50 too. Can anyone confirm if I'm getting this right?

So, just a heads up, the price isn't split exactly as you think; it'll show when you add the batteries and the free tool in your cart, or when you scan them in-store. Also, you don’t actually need to pick up from two places—just grab everything from one store and then head to customer service to return what you don't want. Makes it a lot easier!
Wait, hold up! I'm totally new to the Milwaukee scene and this is all kinda overwhelming. Can someone explain how this whole thing works in a really simple way?
If you want an even simpler option, just cancel the unwanted item directly in the app after you place the order. That way, you can skip going to the store altogether!
