For cutting the planks, I'm wondering if inexpensive tools like cardboard cutters or box cutters from Amazon can handle the job for around 800 square feet of flooring. I'm on the lookout for practical, easy-to-use options that won't break the bank. Also, if I plan to install the flooring in June when it's hot, do I still need to use spacers? I'm hoping they won't need to extend too far beyond the walls and baseboards. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
