Need Suggestions for Large Low Light Plants

Hey everyone! I'm looking for recommendations on large plants that do well in low light conditions. My dining room faces north, with big windows on just one wall, but it doesn't get a lot of light. I used to have a monstera in the northwest corner, but it only grew small, non-variegated leaves, so I moved it to a brighter room. I'm considering a snake plant or a ZZ plant but I'm worried they'll end up like the monstera. Since most of my house has southern-facing windows, I'm not very familiar with low light plants. Any thoughts?

It's true that even low light plants like ZZ and snakes require some light to thrive. Snake plants can handle lower light but do better with brighter exposure. Adding a grow light above your plants can help them out a lot!

This may be the comment I needed to convince my husband to install a grow light ?

It comes down to whether you want a plant or a happy plant! A grow light makes such a difference—plants in good light are often way sturdier, making them more resilient to pests and changes in care.

Truly didn’t even consider a grow light since most of my plants are in our brightest room! Only problem with this plan is it means I’ll be equipped to buy more ?

I think a Boston fern could be a great option for that space too! They do well in low light, just keep them slightly misted.

Definitely consider a grow light if you're serious about your plants' health! You'll be glad you did, especially since there are tall freestanding models available that can fit in your corner like a lamp.
