I'm new to gardening and gearing up for my first year. I've read a lot, but I keep second-guessing myself! I think I might have started my cucumbers a bit too early, but I'm unsure about my planting zone. The last frost in my area is April 1st, and since I'm currently renting, I can't plant directly in the ground. With true leaves starting to come in, I need to transplant my cucumbers soon. I want to set up a pot garden since I've heard cucumbers don't handle transplanting well. Any tips or advice on how to successfully keep my cucumbers thriving in pots? Would a raised garden bed on my porch be a good alternative? Thanks in advance for your help!

You should definitely plant your cucumbers in a pot and give them room to spread out—using a trellis or a fence panel for support works great! Just make sure they get plenty of sunlight and water, and don’t forget about fertilizer! I can look up some fertilizer details if you need.
What size pot would you recommend? I don’t want to get something too small and end up having to repot them.
Consider using fabric grow bags for your cucumbers. They're lightweight, easy to move around, and quite durable. Plus, they're usually cheaper than bigger pots and can be reused for future gardening!

Awesome, thank you so much!
