I'm looking to update the trim around my closet door, but I'm unsure of how to approach the area where the door is flush against the wall. I have a similar situation in my other child's room, and despite searching online, I haven't found any helpful ideas. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Honestly, I would just leave it as is since that's how it's typically done. If you do decide to add trim, just focus on the top and side. It keeps things looking neat without complicating the flush fit.

Thanks for your input! I'm considering that option too, especially since the whole setup is a bit off square. I think I notice the flaws more since I often sit there with the baby and stare at it, haha!
