I'm looking to reclaim a former planter area to use more of my driveway space. I have a photo here: https://imgur.com/a/WkN3UTq. The cutout edge is pretty uneven, varying from about 20" to 24" wide, and the total length is around 14'. I initially thought about using pavers, but I'm worried about the difficulty in placing them evenly. Would filling this area with concrete be a better option? I'm mainly considering cost over aesthetics. What do you all think?

Using bagged concrete or asphalt would work just fine for this size fill! Just keep in mind that if you go with asphalt, you need to have a good tamping method to ensure it's well settled. It shouldn't be too big of a challenge if you prepare the area right!
You could definitely use pavers here, and don’t worry too much about the uneven edge! You can always cut the pavers to fit better using a saw and the right blade. If you're open to alternatives, bricks would be even easier to work with, too. Just take your time measuring and cutting properly to get a nice fit!
Gravel could be a solid option for filling this area! It’s super easy to work with and drains well which can help with rainwater issues. It also fits your budget-friendly approach.

Thanks for the tip! I wasn't too sure about tamping, but I’ll look into that.
