I just recently picked up a Quik Lok Blower attachment, but now I'm second-guessing my choice and considering the 3017 blower instead. I'm planning to use it for leaf cleanup this Fall and occasionally for blowing off my driveway. I'm curious about everyone's experiences with these two blowers. Is one more powerful or effective at moving leaves than the other? How comfortable is it to use the Quik Lok for leaf clean-up? Any additional thoughts or experiences would be great!

I got the Quik Lok for a great deal, but after one use, I ended up selling it, haha! It felt less powerful than the 3017, despite the similar cfm stats. Additionally, it's a bit awkward to handle and would be difficult to use without a strap. I switched to a handheld blower, which I love, but it can strain your wrist when using the larger battery. Honestly, the 3017 would be ideal if it had a loop on the handle for a strap like my backpack blower does. For quick daily tasks, the 3017 really shines!
I only have the 3017, but here's my take. Both blowers claim to have 500cfm, but the Quik Lok is over 66 inches long, while the 3017 is a more compact 37 inches. I’ve found the shorter length of the 3017 makes it much easier to maneuver around the yard. I used an Echo quick-release blower before and didn't enjoy it at all, so I really appreciate the handling of the 3017. It's much better for moving around things in my garden!
Thanks for sharing! Maneuverability is exactly why I'm thinking about switching from the Quik Lok back to a standard blower. It's good to hear the 3017 holds up in that regard.

I appreciate your input! I've seen a few videos on the Quik Lok, and they do seem to show it lacking in power compared to the 3017. I'm leaning towards returning it for the 3017 based on what you've said. It looks like a solid choice!
