Recommendations for a Good Bandsaw Resaw Blade?

Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for recommendations for bandsaw resaw blades. I really like the Wood Slicer by Highland, but I've noticed they're getting quite pricey and can take a bit to arrive. Right now, I'm using Starrett 3/8" x 4 TPI skip and 3 TPI hook blades for my daily tasks, especially since I work with greenwood and rough out various projects. I just need a reliable blade for some shop-made veneer and a cedar beam for an outside project. I'm looking for other options out there, but just to clarify, I'm using a 14" Jet bandsaw with a maximum cut depth of 6", so no heavy-duty stuff for me. I saw a decent Starrett bimetal blade on Amazon, but I'd love to hear what you all recommend!

Timber Wolf blades should suit your needs well. I use both the 1/2" and 3/4" sizes from them and have had fantastic results!

I've had great luck with Timber Wolf blades. They seem to be the best out there for what you're looking for! Plus, if you buy in bulk, they offer discounts. I recently did a group order with my woodworking club to save some cash!

Thanks for the heads-up about the discounts! I’ll definitely consider coordinating an order.

I totally agree! Timber Wolf seems to be a favorite among woodworkers. Appreciate the tip on bulk buying!

I tried the Timber Wolf blades once but had a frustrating experience with the 1/2" ones I got from Woodcraft—they all snapped at the weld. After that, I switched to the Wood Slicer from Highland, and honestly, I’ve never looked back! I get such clean cuts with that one, especially for veneer.

That sounds similar to my experience! I went with Starrett after that and love them for their durability and performance.
